How To Get Totally Healthy

What You Should Do To Get Healthy

  1. Clean out the cupboards in your home. Remove all the highly processed foods you have hidden around your home, and make a commitment to start treating yourself with respect and love.
  2. Get clarity about your purpose and why this change is necessary for you to fulfill your purpose.
  3. Examine your story, check your M.A.P., and G.P.S. [clean out your inner space].
  4. Be consistent in taking the healthy steps daily.
  5. Be patient, change is occurring on the inside even when there is no outside evidence.
  6. Know your non-negotiables and stick to them.
  7. Get an accountability buddy and rely on them when you need a little external strength.
  8. Don’t focus on how you will accomplish your goal, focus on why getting healthy matters now.
  9. Ask the question: “Am I happy with my health right now?”
  10. Answer the question: “Why not?” Then make a realistic plan to gain what you desire.

Cleaning Out Your Space

It’s not just about cleaning out your external physical space, it is also about cleaning out your inner space. There also has to be some internal house cleaning, which includes your spiritual foundation, emotional landscape, and mental structure [framework]. This allows you to see clearly what’s in your way, what’s blocking you from being in complete alignment. Clarity allows you to see clearly from a different perspective where the same unhealthy patterns have blocked your progress and potential repeatedly.

Total Health Is A Priority

If you are unhealthy there is a high probability that you struggle with the daily activities of living and your quality of life is poor. You struggle to cope effectively, and this compromises your total health. Minor discomforts are difficult for you to handle or tolerate. Mentally you don’t think practically or logically. There may be distorted thought patterns. Your attitude is often poor and unloving. You may be emotionally volatile, with sudden swings from one end of the spectrum to the other. You feel unhappy more often than not or simply dissatisfied. Finally, your finances may not be in the best shape. When you are totally healthy, life is more joyful, and peace and contentment reign despite the daily trials and tribulations you may face.
