You Do Not HAVE A MINDSET THAT ACCEPTS

When you have the mindset that A.C.C.E.P.T.S., you accept the reality and the truth, which allows you to be more consistent in your endeavors. The truth is things will not always go the way you expect. The truth is you will never be perfect. You accept full responsibility for your choices. Then you can get to the bottom of why you are CHOOSING to make the same choice repeatedly, especially when it is preventing you from accomplishing your goal. Accept that you are the one SABOTAGING your effort by CHOOSING not to accept the truth and reality.

YOUR ATTITUDE IS NOT CONDUCIVE TO YOUR HEALTH

Being totally healthy requires an attitude of gratitude as well as humility. Being grateful for your blessing takes you out of a mindset of paucity, which often leads to greed, anxiety, fear, and undue stress. Recognize that you do not know everything and sometimes you need to ask for help. Be humble and know that it is okay to make mistakes and okay to ask for help. Sometimes you just need someone to remind you that you can and will accomplish your goal. Perhaps you need more information. Be grateful for your blessings and stop comparing or judging yourself, this only leads to an unhealthy emotional and mental state, which ultimately leads to an unhealthy physical and sometimes financial state. Recognize that our attitude is shaped by our spiritual state.

YOU ARE STILL HOLDING ON TO UNHEALTHY PRACTICES

I will be the first to tell you that our unhealthy habits can be difficult to overcome; however, this is where the right mindset and attitude can really help. When you accept the truth, you know that for a period, you will have to make some sacrifices. You will also need to endure some discomfort. Keep your eyes focused on the prize. The truth is you cannot keep indulging in the same unhealthy practices and expect to achieve your weight loss goal. That is a failure to accept the truth and reality.

UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS ARE ANOTHER REASON

This ties into not having a mindset that accepts reality and the truth. No matter how much we would like things to be different, we cannot change what is. However, when we learn to accept reality, we can proceed better by making choices that positively impact the outcome we desire. Losing weight does not happen overnight, it takes consistent commitment and discipline to achieve your desired goal. Allow for the reality that there will be setbacks and stop beating yourself up when you are human. You did not gain weight overnight; therefore, please do not expect to lose it in one day. Remember, eating consistently healthy is your new lifestyle.
